The Hertz Corporation Sr Financial Analyst in Estero, Florida
The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team is responsible for partnering with Hertz leaders on financial related aspects of the business. In this role, the Senior Financial Analyst is a finance liaison responsible for providing high value services supporting technology in the areas of decision support, project financial reporting and economics, and overall performance accountability.
S/he has overall responsibility for partnering with the technology team to support the organization in delivering on financial and operational commitments, as well as development and management of budgets, tracking and forecasting spend, providing financial planning and analysis support for key projects/investments, analysis of agreements, and strategic initiatives.
In addition, s/he will ensure activities and results are consistent with approved strategic objectives for our technology transformation. As such, s/he will provide key reporting and analysis.

Prepare presentations, financial analysis, and key data for monthly performance reviews and/or Board of Directors meetings.
Partner with the technology team to gain a deep understanding of the cost structure and identify opportunities to improve.
Lead the development and preparation of forecasts, annual business plans, multi-year strategic plans and capital plans.
Define, develop, implement and improve methods for measurement, evaluation and reporting.
Collaborate with technology leaders to explore investment options, quantify risks and opportunities, and monitor business case/project performance.
Lead analysis of expense effectiveness and key cost drivers to increase visibility and optimize cost structure.
Provide strategic, financial, operational, and competitive information to the technology leadership team for planning and evaluation.
Partner with technology project managers/program directors to track and prepare monthly project accruals.
Build and standardize financial reporting, maintain and update reporting hierarchy structure.
Own weekly cash forecasting and submission to global FP&A team.
Assist with requests from auditors, provide backup and explanations as requested.
Receive and verify Fixed Asset list quarterly for IT equipment and software
Partner with IT procurement and business owners to track renewals and advise of expirations
Skills and Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics required.
Ability to independently resolve complex problems where analysis requires a detailed assessment of multiple factors.
Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize work across various departments and projects.
Curiosity to explore data, problem solve, and think critically.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience working with Oracle and Hyperion applications.
Minimum 3-4 years of FP&A experience
Experience in creating financial models
